Annual School Auction:“A Knight for Kids:A Medieval Banquet” Saturday, April 24, 2010
|
Congratulations to Jacqueline Bega who was the winner for the best drawing of our theme, “A Knight for Kids: A Medieval Banquet.“ (See top of page.)
The purpose of the Auction is to help offset tuition costs of the school; which is why the tuition is so low. It also allows us to take students who are unable to pay tuition. The success of this fundraiser is what keeps the school operating. We need YOUR support to make this successful.
For over 40 years St. Michael's Academy has been providing an excellent education for children in the Pacific Northwest. Your tax-deductible donation of items or services is greatly appreciated. We look forward to honoring you by including your name and company on our live auction catalog. Please be assured of our gratitude, appreciation, and the prayers of the children, parents, and staff for your support of St. Michael's Academy.
We would also like to invite you to attend our Auction Gala on April 24, 2010, at St. Michael's Academy. Auction Gala tickets are available for $25 per person.

Our raffle this year is an easy one that has a lot of potential with a lot less work than previous raffles. We are only selling 500 tickets at $50 each. That means a gross profit of $25,000. We are paying prize money of $10,000 total; which means the school gets $15,000 free and clear.
1st prize is $6,000
2nd prize is $3,000
3rd prize is $1,000
The chances of winning are much greater than having 8,000, $2 tickets with a prize of only $500. You have a lot more chances to win this raffle then the Lottery or Power Ball. In the past, many people ended up buying a whole book of tickets for $50 with a much smaller return.
If every family in the Academy sold 5 tickets we would have all 500 sold. It's that easy; we don't have to stand in front of stores all day every weekend. This is a lot more return for a lot less work. Please buy a ticket or if you are attending St. Michael's Academy pick up tickets to sell from Anne Marie Netzel.
What makes the auction a success is the items that we are able to procure. Some things that we would like for this is:
The possibilities are endless; use your creativity!!!
We do need to make sure that all items are new or in excellent condition.
